Getting ready for a walk

Miranda and I were getting ready to out for a walk on Monday and she was swinging waiting for mommy to put her shoes on. One minute she is awake and the next she is out!

Going out Shopping

Miranda and I were going out shopping again. Thought she looked so cute with her dress and hair band on.

My first cool shades

Yesterday we went shopping and found Miranda her first cool pair of sunglasses. Now when we are out and about this summer she can wear her shades too!

Blowing Drying my Hair

Miranda's hair is getting so thick that we now need to blow dry it with the cool tempature at night before she goes to bed. She seems to enjoy it and doesn't complain.

Meeting Cousin Jacquie and visiting with Auntie Gina

On Monday Miranda met her cousin Jacquie for the first time. Miranda as usual slept thru the introduction, slept thru dinner and as cousin Jacquie and Auntie Gina were leaving I was ready to play.

Me and My Buddies

Miranda and I have been walking every morning with some friends (Princess and Tara) that I have met from birthing class and the mom's group we go to every Wednesday. Here is Miranda with her buddies Cassidy (4 months) and Katlyn ( 3 months) tuckered out after a long walk. Tough life!

Sunday Miranda Keenan and I went to Valley Hi CC for Keenan's first father's day. Miranda slept before brunch. Miranda slept thru her visit to the Country Club and didn't even wake up to take pictures with daddy till we arrived at home. It was a relaxing brunch and then we went home and watched the U.S. Open.

Father's Day weekend

Miranda was able to meet more family this weekend. She finally met her Auntie Karin. Met Auntie Adele and Uncle Allen and Cousin Brenden. On Friday we went to dinner and then went to Ty Ty Rosemarie's after dinner. Wow! Four generations of ladies! Miranda enjoy's her carseat and riding in the car. This is the picture before she get's into the car, otherwise she would be sleeping.

9 weeks old

Today I am 9 weeks old. I just chillin in my swing.

2 month doctor visit

This Monday Miranda went to her 2 month doctor appointment. In the pictures she is very happy to kick her legs and move her arms and cooing on the exam room paper. She found the crinkling of the paper very entertaining. For the weigh in she now weight 12 lbs 4 ounces which is the 85% percentile. For her height, she is 22 3/8 inches. For the circumference of her head 15 1/4 inch. For height and her head she is at the 50% percentile. She is growing rapidly but very healthy. That is some good breastmilk mommy! We will see the doctor again in another 2 months, at that point the doctor said we will talk about starting solids!

Wow for after the appointment. Miranda had a rough few hours when we got home. She kept screaming and then realized that she kept putting her hand by her legs and rubbed the bandaids and she screamed. Then taking the bandaids off she screamed. Boy did she have some bruises from the shots. She felt much better after a bath and had a good 5 hour stretch of sleep. Mommy thought we were in for a long night, but she did well. Oh the picture of the spit up happens was during the few hours of screaming thought it just captured the rough few hours.

My mobile

One of Miranda's many things she likes to do now is look at her mobile. She looks at the parott, monkey and the frog. She kicks her legs and reaches for the mobile as she listens to the music.

Skylar Mommy and Me

Spitting up

Miranda just like all babies spits up, but daddy thought it would be funny to help me throw up over the sink. And what did Miranda do, she spit up in the sink. We thought it was pretty humorous. So what do new parents do. Oh! Take a picture.

So many outfits and so little time to where them. Miranda is growing so fast. At 8 weeks she weighed in at 12.04 lbs. Miranda is already fitting my 3 month clothes. Here is a cute outfit that our friends Michele and Eric brought her.

Daddy's First Business Trip away

This week daddy went to Las Vegas for a National Sales Meeting. Mommy and I didn't want him to go so I said pack me in your suitcase daddy I'm coming with you.

8 weeks old

I can't believe it but Miranda is already 2 months old. This week Daddy had his first business trip away. Fortunately, Grandma came to stay with us. Thank you grandma.
