First bang trim

Daddy took Miranda with him to his hair cut yesterday and Auntie Summer said she would trim up Miranda's bangs because they keep getting in her eyes. She just feathered them and they look cute. Daddy said that Miranda wore the big cape and sat in daddy's lap to get her bangs trimmed.

My first taste of daddy's cooking!

This week we tried Miranda's first vegetable, green beans. Keenan cooked up a bunch to freeze. We tried a tablespoon of rice cereal and a tablespoon of green beans. She really enjoyed herself. As you can see we decided to go without the bib because half the time she is trying to eat her bib. So this dinner she ate all of the rice cereal and green beans! Well, alot of the mixture is on her too.

Last weekend Miranda had her friend Kaitlyn over while her parents went to see a movie. We had fun playing on the mat together and watching my mobile.

Evolution of the watermelon girl

Daddy loved Miranda's watermelon outfit from the Lowe's. Grandma and Grandpa brought up a watermelon the other weekend so Daddy decided to crave a watermelon outfit for Miranda.

My pigtails!

Mommy has figured out how to put pigtails in my hair. She looks so cute in her new outfit from Auntie Karin and new hair do. Dad took my pigtails out and I had crazy hair too!

Miranda received a cute bunny/blanket from our cousin Kathy. She really loves it, she loves to try to eat his ears and arms.

First Experience with Rice Cereal

Yesterday was Miranda's first experience with rice cereal. She seemed to take to it well. Today she wasn't to into it. She is gradually learning how to eat from a spoon.

My first A! At 4 months old!

Today Miranda had her 4 month well baby check up. She weighed in at 16 lbs and 13 ounces. 95% percentile!!!!! WOW! Healthy baby. Height is 24 1/4 inches and Head Circum. 16 1/4 inches both are in the 50% percentile. Today she had her shots again. Wow did she scream today. I thought it was bad when Keenan cleans her nose out. Both of us have never heard her scream so loud, after she was done she was in a vegatative state and then feel asleep on the way home. Mom gave her Tylenol before the appointment, so far she has fed well and playing like she did before the shots so hopefully we will have a good evening.

Miranda is cooing and gooing alot. She is pretty chatty. She is getting ready to turn over, she turns about half her body but hasn't kicked herself over. Today we learned that we can start solid foods, so rice cereal to start and then we are planning on making her veggies and fruits in the next couple months. We certainly have a healthly baby girl. Miranda is a very good sleeper. She has been sleeping 10 to 12 hours at night. Mom during the week usually wakes Miranda up at about 11 hours cuz we need to get out and walk. I hope this continues for a while. Cross my fingers, it's really nice. Miranda is eatting about every 3 to 4 hours for about 15 to 20 minutes. At night Keenan baths her and then feeds her about 6 ounces before she reads a story with daddy and is off to bed. Her next check up will be at 6 months. Wow time is flying by. Before I know it I will be back to work. :(

TyTy Gong's 93rd Birthday Dinner

This weekend was a full weekend of visiting for Miranda. This weekend we celebrated Keenan's grandma's 93rd birthday! Miranda met more cousins, auntie's and uncle's for the first time. She had a fun time being passed around to all the relatives.

This weekend we went to Stockton to meet our Cousin Miles. Miranda met her cousin Miles (who is 6 days older) for the first time. We first went to Tyty Rosemarie's house to visit then had lunch at Auntie Bonnie's and had dinner at Jade Palace for Miles introduction to the family party. Miranda met many cousins, aunties, uncles, and family friends. She had a very full day of visiting and playing, but Miranda was a very good girl for mommy and daddy. Miranda can't wait to visit cousin Miles again.

Introduction to the exersaucer

This week Miranda started playing in her exersaucer. Miranda enjoys playing with the rattle on and stares at the little toys as she turns around. We found that she really just likes to turn herself around so she can look at the TV or if I put the burp cloth on the exersaucer she just likes to play with that. Funny girl.

This is an outfit that our friends in Hong Kong sent to Miranda. It is a little big on her but I wanted to everyone to see her watermelon outfit. This picture just makes me laugh.

16 weeks

Miranda and mommy went to mommy's group to do the weekly weigh in. This week I weighed 16 lbs and 2 ounces. On Friday the 10th when Miranda turns 4 months I'm interested to see what she weighs in at the doctor's appointment.
