Here is a picture of me and my new favorite toy. Uncle Jason and Auntie Jess gave it to me for Christmas and mom and dad just broke it out for me to play with. I love to play with the shapes, pull the car towards me when it's to far, and try to open the back door when mom and dad put the shapes in the car.

Wow! I feels like I haven't been to the doctor in a while, but I'm fine with waiting. I have grown again in the last 3 months. I weighed in at 19 lbs and 15 ounces which is the 50 percentile and I am 27 1/4 inch long now which is also the 50%, I have a 100 percentile head that is 18 1/4 inches. My brain is growing! Mom and dad have weighed me at home and I was 20 or 21 lbs. I guess the rolling has had me shed a few pounds. Our next visit will be when I am a year old. Wow does time fly! Doctor said that I will probably level out in weight because I am getting around and will be walking soon. All in all she gave mom and dad a pat on the back cuz she said I am a very healthy girl. Also, Dr. Kimura said that for all 9 month olds in the practice that I by far have the most hair, and even some of the 1 and 2 years I have already past up.

As I was saying I am attempting to crawl, but I think rolling get's me places faster.

I can't believe I am 9 months already. I am still working on getting my teeth in. Right now I have two that are trying to cut thru, one on the bottom and one on the top. OUCH! I am been okay mom and dad have drugged me up pretty well. I have been to a couple of 1st birthday's already and have one more at the end of the month. I can't believe I have friends that are already a year old. I'm getting so old to quick. :) As for crawling, I'm still doing the army crawl and strategic rolling. I still get my left arm stuck under me. Last week I went on my first business trip with mom and dad in San Francisco. I hung out with dad during the day and went out to some nice restaurants with mom and her coworkers after mom was done with work. Dad and I had a fun time walking down to the ferry building and went shopping around Union Square. I was excited to get out, I really like being around all the people. At the end of the week, I have my 9 month check up. I'm excited to see how much I am grown since my last appointment at 6 months.

12 Days Before Christmas

Hi Everyone

In the 12 days before Christmas we had a pretty hectic schedule, 10 days before Christmas Mommy and Daddy threw a holiday party where I got to see some of my buddies, my cousins and my Auntie and Uncle from Dublin (CA not Ireland)...It was pretty exciting Mommy and Daddy have told me about their holiday parties and now I had the chance to experience my first one of many more to come...3 days before Christmas I spent my first night away from Elk Grove, Mommy and Daddy went to see Cirque Du Soleil in San Francisco so I had my first chance to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa Shue in Concord, I was so excited that I stayed up waiting from my Mom and Dad to come home...Christmas eve I got to experience the tradition of opening one gift before the big day, I learned that it's not about the size of the gift it's the wrapping that it came in that makes it the one to open...

I have learned to say mum mum and mom mom, my mommy and daddy thought the those 2 word were one in the same but they quickly realized that mum mum is my way of saying feed my belly, I mean it takes a lot to keep this pot round

I still have one tooth but the is sufficient for eating Cheerios, bananas, steamed baby carrots and veggie chips (love the fried stuff)...I still see no need for crawling I can roll myself into trouble just fine just the other day I rolled under the coffee table cause I saw some cords, I have to get to theses things before dad starts to Miranda proof.....

It looks like I crawled here but really I rolled, I'm smiling cause I know I'm not supposto be here, but I'm here anyway

Christmas Tree Decorating 101

First off these next few entries are going to be a bit back dated we fell slightly behind in blogging, sorry for any inconvenience

Well the month of December has been a pretty eventful one for me so I think I'm going to break it down in a few blogs the in the beginning of December I had a few firsts...I got to help choose my first Christmas tree or rather I rode on dad's back while he was rummaging through the Christmas tree lot at Lowe's, I did scream whenever I saw a tree I liked...I also received my first Christmas gift from my cousin Cathy, the wrapping paper was quite exquisite...having picked my first tree I also had the chance to decorate it, I had the task of checking the light strands...
As for crawling and speaking, I'm doing much more speaking than crawling I've learned to say Mum Mum, Mom mom and ya ya...as for crawling I have realized that rolling is a pretty good mode of movement so I have learned to strategically roll around the family room
